As a nurse practitioner (NP), Xenia is licensed to practice in Texas and Louisiana. She graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor's degree in nursing and went on to receive her NP degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She practiced as an ICU nurse for five years before becoming a family nurse practitioner. During her medical journey, she discovered a passion for helping patients to reach optimal health through holistic and alternative pathways. She approaches well-being and vitality as a whole-body approach, incorporating diet, lifestyle, and nutraceuticals in addition to pharmaceuticals when needed. She has completed courses in psychopharmacology and neurobiology at the University of Texas at Tyler and advanced functional medicine courses at the Institute of Functional Medicine in gastrointestinal and nutritional optimization.
